Thank you for making me
Feel like I'm guilty
Making it easy to murder your sweet memory

You were way out of line,
Went and turned it all around on me again
How can I not smell your lie,
Through the smoke and arrogance.

But now I know
So you will not get away with it again
I'm distant in those hollow eyes
For I have reached my end.

So...

Thank you for making me
Feel like I'm guilty
Making it easy to murder your sweet memory

Before I go tell me
Were you ever who you claimed yourself to be?

Either way i must say goodbye.
You're dead to me.

So I...

Thank you for making me
Feel like I'm guilty
Making it easy to murder your sweet memory

I'm severing the heart then I'm leaving your corpse behind
Not dead but soon to be, though.
I won't be the one who killed you
I'll just leave that up to you

I'm not gonna be here to revive you
I'm not gonna be here to revive you
I'm not gonna be here to revive you
I'm gonna be the one to say...

I told you so (X8)
I told you

Severing the heart then I'm leaving you corpse behind
Not dead but soon to be and
I'm gonna be the one to say I told you so.

General CommentYes... not every single Maynard song is about religion.
Having someone who has been doing wrong against you, then finally realizing the truth. They are the ones who where wrong. Therfore making it ...
easy to murder your sweet memory.

This song is very easy to understand..
Some just like to make more things more complicated than they really are.

General CommentIt's not a "scrap song". It's on par with Rev 22:20. Great lyrics/music. All in all I think it's about taking someone down with you. Falling together, or in this case (bury). Curious to hear the original version. Need more Puscifer!!

General CommentIt is about your average, run of the mill, sociopath. There's quite a few out there, emotional vampires, leeches. This isn't the only song I've heard from him that addresses this. Sorry he had to deal with it, but it's all what you do with it, and damn it makes for good music.

General CommentThis is probably a scrap song left over from the original Underworld soundtrack. Don't go jumping ahead thinking they'll be a full length Puscifer album or anything. But I guess it's still a possibility...

    Neat song.

General CommentWhat no more comments. Well I think the song is really great. The lyrics are incredible. It has a real NIN feel to it which I like. Maynard's voice still sounds amazing but very, very different.

General CommentI love this song. I finally just got it yesterday.

As for Puscifer doing anything, it's a sheer possibility. Puscifer.com is up with nothing but merchandise and a shitty logo. Does that mean more music, or is it just another one of Maynard's head games? Time will tell I guess.

General Comment"This is actually off the Underworld: Evolution soundtrack"

He meant its probably just a scrap song that didn't fit on the first movie's album so they put it on this one.

As for the song - It has a great feel to it.
