"You Were Meant for Me" as written by and Nacio Brown Arthur Freed....
You were meant for me, I was meant for you
Nature patterned you and when she was done
You were all the sweet things rolled up in one
You're like a plaintive melody
That never lets me free
For I'm content the angels must have sent you
And they meant you just for me

You were meant for me, I was meant for you
Nature patterned you and when she was done
You were all the sweet things rolled up in one
You're like a plaintive melody
That never lets me free
For I'm content the angels must have sent you
And they meant you just for me

General CommentI heard this song last night, at 2.02 AM. As I was already in a bit of a nostalgic state, and "it's sad to say it, I had to say it", but I actually cried a little. I gues because, hearing it, I realised there's no one to say those word in the song to me *snif.
Anyway, the piano was simply divine! And Sting's voice was so much softer than usual. Even if he didn't write this song, it's great! A jewel.
