"Waiting Game" as written by William Ryan Key, Peter Michael Mosely, Longineu Warren Iii Parsons and Sean Michael Wellman-mackin....
You and me
A little different
Though we tried to stay the same
It never leaves
And when it changes it is still a waiting game

I wait for a lonely breath
I wait to surface from this death
Wait for the light to come
And take away these images I get
In my head

[Chorus]
More than ever
I need to feel you
More than ever
I see the real you

You are me
A worst disaster would be waking up alone
Now we're free
We're drifting out
Like all the ones we didn't know
I wait for a silent tear
I wait for things to disappear
Wait for the ground to stop moving underneath my only fear
If I lose you I don't know

More than ever
I need to feel you
It's all around
More than ever
I see the real you
And it's around

Everything, everything
We've had
Out of sight out of mind
Given that
What I see when I dream
Hurts like hell and back

Everything, everything
We've had
Out of sight out of mind
Given that
What I see when I dream
Hurts like hell and back

[Chorus]

General CommentHmm, the meaning of this song is 'grey', uncertain to me, however as i listened to it in my car, I pondered the thought that it could be a spirtual song, about jesus possibly. I don't know their religion so this is purely speculation:
"Though we tried to stay the same
    It never leaves
And when it changes it is still a waiting game"

Generally, one to achieve salvation needs to be one with christ, or accept them into their hearts, souls etc, so they become 'one' or the same. Jesus supposedly is with you always, and when, if he leaves, he still waits to be taken to somewhere, (an afterlife).

"I wait for a lonely breath
I wait to surface from this death
Wait for the light to come
And take away these images I get
    In my head"

It may be a bit of a stretch, but lonely signifies one, or the only, and lonely breath to me means his last breath. Surface from this death, rise above, to heaven. Wait for the light to come, often when encountered with death, people see beams of light coming from heaven. Take away these images i get in my head; he wants to not have to imagine anymore, so he can experience it for himself, not what people draw, or what people say, but wants to see heaven for himself.

    "More than ever
    I need to feel you
    More than ever
    I see the real you"

First half relates to physical life, I need to feel you, like they are one, he needs him to be in his heart.

Second half relates to the spirtual life, and now hes in heaven and sees Jesus

    "You are me
A worst disaster would be waking up alone
    Now we're free
    We're drifting out
Like all the ones we didn't know
I wait for a silent tear
I wait for things to disappear
Wait for the ground to stop moving underneath my only fear
    If I lose you I don't know"

I think its You and Me, Our worst disaster, but ok aside from that
Waking up alone would mean, they are not one, he is no longer 'saved' and another one of Jesus's children would not go to heaven, hence it is a disaster for them both.

    Now we're free
    We're drifting out
Like all the ones we didn't know

They're free from their bodies, drifting in the wind, like everyone that had died before them that they didnt get to meet, know.

"I wait for a silent tear
I wait for things to disappear
Wait for the ground to stop moving underneath my only fear
    If I lose you I don't know"
    Silent tear refers to death, all is silent when someone dies, and a tear is shed from their loved ones. Everything essentially 'dissappears' from your life, the ground stops moving because he is no longer walking on ground;

He does not know his future if he is not saved.

    Everything, everything
    We've had
Out of sight out of mind
    Given that
What I see when I dream
    Hurts like hell and back

In the end everything he has means nothing, and everything that he could have had hurts like 'hell' and back, which hints at something :P

General CommentNo, it's a song about going through a breakup, but not wanting to, and just waiting for her to come around, and in the meantime, all you can think about is how much you miss her, and all the things that you did together, at the same time knowing that the only way that you'll ever have a shot at geting her back is to keep it all inside and just wait.

As for the spiritual interpretation, I'm almost entirely positive that that's not the original intent of the song, but I can also see how this song could be personally interpreted thus. Ergo, I could totally worship to this song. A lot like Echo by Trapt, which I personally interpret spiritually even though I know that's not how it was intended.

Someone who escapes my memory but I think it was William Golding or someone like that said that "interpretation just as much if not moreso lies in the hands of the reader as opposed to the author."

General Commentbilldye its not about a girl...the religion thing isnt exactly correct ither. Its about someone who has lost faith in themself.

They were a little different when he started loosing faith in himself/life. He then says the feeling he has now never leaves and its a waiting game until he finally looses all hope in himself.

He then says he waits for lonely breath (death)
He waits to surface from this death (the feeling he has now and how he doesnt feel alive anymore)
He waits for the light to come and take away the images ive kept (the inspiration to take away the images of him dying/possibly killing himself)

    Chorus
More then ever he needs to find himself or there will be no tomorrow

You are me (this dead feeling he has is still the same person he use to be)
-He fears of not waking up
    Hes drifting out
To conclude the 2nd verus hes saying
-If he looses that little bit of light he still has he wont know what to do but die

    The bridge again
    -Hes lost sight of everything
When he dreams he see's thing he doesnt want to, that cause him to hurt more

This song can easily relate to loosing his faith in himself when he lived in LA
