"Do You Want To Come With?" as written by and Stephen Fretwell....
Green eyed monsters on the shore,
Playing hand in hand,
I'd love to give them all they need,
And leave them dancing hand in hand,
I'm going away,
I'm going away,
Where the wind beats heavy on the sand,
Do you want to come with?

Silly green eyed monsters on the shore,
Playing holding hands
I'd love to give them what they really need,
And leave them all dancing hand in hand,
I'm going away,
I'm going away,
Where the wind beats heavy on the sand,
Do you want to come with?
Do you want to come with?

General CommentGreen? Envy, maybe? Or just a blanket representation of the bad parts of a relationship he'd love to leave behind. But asking if she'd like to come with means he doesn't want to walk away from her. Just the drama. Growing up, maturing.

Song Meaningwent to see stephen fretwell at a tiny little gig and when he sang this i recall him saying it was about the so called 'cool' crowd in the place he grew up that were very into material crap and took the piss out of him.
