"There Goes Another Love Song" as written by and Hughie Thomasson Byron Lamont Yoho....
Sometimes I feel like
I'm gettin' kinda low,
Thoughts that I'm thinkin'
Are the reason I know,
So I try to remember
Without talkin to myself,
Things that I said
Or maybe things that I felt about you.

Sittin' in the corner
Of a crowded bar room,
People all around me
And I still feel alone.
Just when I know
I'm gonna break down and cry
Someone plays the tune
That dried the tear from my eye.

There goes another love song,
Someone singin about me again.
There goes another love song,
Now I need more then a friend.

Lonesome and lonely,
Far from my home.
Tryin' to get back
T'where I know I belong.
Wishin' and hopin'
I was already there.
I just heard a voice
Whispered in my ear.

There goes another love song,
Someone singin' about me again.
There goes another love song,
Now I need more then a friend.

There goes another love song,
Someone singin' about me again.
There goes another love song,
Now I need more then a friend.

General CommentThis is the kind of song a guy can relate to if you've ever been on the road for a while. Helps you remember what it's like to miss that certain someone. Hopefully, before it's too late. Great tune.

General CommentSeriously a great song. The opening track on their debut album. Great lyrics and excellent guitar work throughout. Straight forward lyrics....don't really have to search for a meaning in this one. I can add to sgninaemgnos comment that when the band first started touring outside of Florida, lead guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Hughie Thomasson was only about 24 and they were on the bus heading to another town late at night and he confessed to Henry Paul (original member and also founder of BlackHawk) that he wanted to go home and Henry said that he looked like he was about to cry...so his friend and bandmate comforted him and let him know everything was gonna be alright, etc and I'm pretty sure that's when Hughie and drummer Monte Yoho wrote this tune.

General Commentaweosme lyrically and musically. Too bad music gets cornholed into a"genre" unfortunately limits the musics longevity
