"Eddie's Song" as written by James Bourne and Chris / Leonard....
Eddie kick started his career
One Summertime in May
A shitty band with friends from school
But only he could really play
The moment that he took the stage
The fans were blown away
I always knew that he'd go far
I'm glad I lived to see the day

Eddie's got twenty-seven kids but he
Doesn't know
Shame he'll never be around to
See them grow
Said he screwed a different girl
After every show
But he was always way too gone
To remember though
So Eddie doesn't know

At 3a.m, it's getting late
The after party's closed
But everybody follows Eddie
They just won't leave him alone
Calls seven girls to his hotel room
Takes off all their clothes
Some people say he had it easy
But that is just the way it goes

Eddie's got twenty-seven kids but he
Doesn't know
Shame he'll never be around to
See them grow
Said he screwed a different girl
After every show
But he was always way too gone
To remember though
So Eddie doesn't know

He's in deep and there's a reason
He's all alone and he can't change
Like the seasons
They come and they go

To all the kids who don't look
Like their Mum and Dad
Don't freak out, don't you let
It make you mad
As long as they both love you then
You should be glad
Just think about the little problem
Eddie had

Eddie's got twenty-seven kids but he
Doesn't know
Shame he'll never be around to
See them grow
Said he screwed a different girl
After every show
But he was always way too gone
To remember though
So Eddie doesn't know

Eddie's got twenty-seven kids but he
Doesn't know
Shame he'll never be around to
See them grow
Said he screwed a different girl
After every show
But he was always way too gone
To remember though

General Commenti dont like this song but i like the lil bit where it says about kids who dont look like their parents but as long as they both love them they should be glad. its a good message to pass around- kids should know that their parents love them because then they know that they have someone to turn to whether they do turn to them or not!

General CommentOh fukin get a grip
Better bands tell better fukin messages in their songs
Son of Dork are manufactured talentless shit
We dont need them 2 tell us about our parents

General Commentthere's also worse bands with worse messages, how about you troll around those too? the fact that you came looking for these lyrics to basically give grief over it shows a lot about you, get out of the house much? Personally, I hated Busted and McFly, but i like these, a lot better than Busted, but obviously not better than Fightstar...

whatever happened to the days when people would look at the music for the music and not whether the band was manufactured or not?

General CommentYou cant because manufactured bands have all their fukin songs written for them and they only go for the money, and music is about passion and creativity. Son of dork have none of that. So quit whining, a lot of ppl will agree with me that SOD are no different.

General CommentAlthough i agree with adelledaforever that Son Of Dork are positively awful, Megaman-exe is right - this is not the place to be slating genres of music you personally don't listen to. Bands like this are manufactured to cater for an audience tastes. They only make records which people will buy, and it's not for people like us to judge them, it's all subjective. I agree, it's creativity and passion that makes the best music, but hey, I like the Macarena!

General Commentxhethx, what are you basing that on....
or is more smart to realise that they are manufactured because it wouldn't matter what James did after busted, they would be mainstream anyway. and even if they did write their songs, these kinda lyrics arent exactly sutin to brag about....bollocks ."ahem"
soz but theyre shit, manufactured poster boys appealin for the lil 12 year olds wantin the next busted
the sooner you accpet that the better.:)

General Commenti've heard before somewhere that when they sing about eddie they're singing about charlie simpson after it was apparent that his ambitions for a hard rock career were more important that his current one. whether it's true or not is debatable, as i say, it's only what i've heard. but if you put that thought into the lyrics then it makes sense. a lot of the lyrics from the song 'boyband' on the same album also appear to have a lot of relevance to this thought. anyone else agree?

General Commentso what if the lyrics aren't the best lyrics in the world. I know people of all different ages who like them. and what do you mean what am I basing it on? I'm not thick, just because you don't like them, doesn't mean you have to start havin a go.
