"Bad Reputation" as written by Philip Parris Lynott, Brian Michael Downey and William Scott Gorham....
I know I got a bad reputation
and it isn't just talk, talk, talk
If I could only give you everything
You know I haven't got

I couldn't have one conversation
If it wasn't for the lies, lies, lies
And still I ought to tell you everything
'till I close my eyes

Suddenly I'm on the street
Seven years disappear below my feet
Been breaking down
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?

Suddenly I'm down in Harold's Square
Looking in the crowd, your face is everywhere
Been turning around
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?

Don't try to be an inspiriation
Just wasting your time, time, time
You know about the best I'll ever be
See it in your eyes

I know I got a bad reputation
and it isn't just talk, talk, talk
If I could only give you everything
You know I haven't got

Suddenly I'm on the street
Seven years disappear below my feet
Been breaking down
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?

Suddenly I'm in another place
Looking in the crowd I think I see your face
Been turning around
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?
(Down, Down, down)
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?
(Down, Down, down)
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?
(Down, Down, down)

Don't you think I've heard the talk?
Nobody's going to tell me who to love
Been breaking down
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?

Suddenly I'm down in Harold's Square
Looking in the crowd, your face is everywhere
Just turning around
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?
Been breaking down
Do you want me now?
Do you want me now?
I'm just breaking down, down, down, down
Been breaking down, down, down
Been breaking down, down, down

General CommentThis is my theme song in life to my husband. He took it really hard find out about my life that I had before him... It's in a way kinda like, ok you know the worst possible thing there can be about me and I know that your friends may be talkin trash about me but , do you still want me.

General CommentI can't believe that such a great song only has had one person comment on it!! I'm getting married in 17 days and the line "Seven years disappear below my feet" just makes me think of really how fast time does go by and you need to take time to slow and enjoy life and your friends/family.

    There, that's my first post.

General CommentIt's Herald Square, btw, not Herold's Square. 34th & Broadway in NYC. Where Macy's is, where the Thanksgiving parade starts.

I often play this when I'm actually walking through Herald Square on my way home, and it's a perfect soundtrack for that lonely-in-a-crowd feeling.

General CommentBeautiful song. Just one of those you could listen to over and over again and not feel like a moment of your life has ever been wasted.
