It's bound to have lots of silly mistakes, and 2 lines are skipped (I'm neighter a German nor English native speaker) but since there seems to be no other translation around, it's better than nothing ;)

    LOVE LETTER

Because all those who love, are children at heart And because those who are driven by their pure hearts are our greatest heroes I’ll save the world with your love inside me Because I am for you No, I’m here thanks to you It’s because you are still able to love
and because the ability to forgive is a part of your life that I was awakened and what sleeps deep inside of me is leading the quill now and is writing this love letter to you

I fell headlong into the water Something pulled me under the surface And I would have drowned If I hadn’t found you I was on the ground, all ruined as it usually happens but you brought me back to life Now I’m hungry for life Feed me with experience Your every word is my food And I am feeding you As if I was indispensable to you You’re looking at me And I can’t honestly promise you anything because it would be a deceit But you’re saying with a smile that what’s now and here is enough for you You are the sand in the gears of the thinking machine And I’m taking you for a night flight

    Because all those who…

Put your arms around me so that the scar that I’m wearing here, on my heart doesn’t hurt me anymore When you ask “Why do I have to win for you?” I answer “[????] like me sometimes prefer to stay inside” And when one of us disappears [????] once again the love will be like barking at the moon and it will bring us together What (s)he knows about me is that you’re no longer here And to prove that my sweat still has the smell of you Still, of you And you seem so far away from me Millions of miles away from me And I’m writing on the paper millions of verses about you

    Because all those who…

    Because all those who…

And I often wear my heart on my sleeve so that anyone can see it And I can only hope that you’ll read this song like an opened letter That all the others will understand that we can see ourselves in one another’s eyes

    Because all those who…

You must understand that this song is not about what it appears to be about at first. There are at least two meanings rolled into one here, and the title adds to the irony.

    My Opinion

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
