"King Of Rock N' Roll" as written by Vivian Patrick Campbell, James Stewart Bain, Ronnie James Dio and Vincent Appice....
He's the king of rock and roll

Hot night summer in the city
Just above the smoking burn
Look out he's evil but he's pretty
And always gonna twist and turn

He's got the midnight madness
He's got control
He's the king of rock and roll

Bad blood and everybody knows it
But everybody doesn't care
He's got the only way to show it
They want to see it everywhere

He's got to give you fever
He'll scratch your soul
He's the king of rock and roll
The king of rock and roll

Bad boy always on the cover
Gettin' the story told
Fast fast one way or another
'Cause you never never never never never got old

He makes a special magic
You got control
You are the king of rock and roll

He's got the midnight madness
He's got a soul
'Cause he's the king of rock and roll
King of rock and roll
Rock and roll
Rock and roll
Rock and roll
Rock and roll
The king of rock and roll

General CommentThis song was written by Ronnie James Dio, in my opinion about Ozzy Osbourne. Many believe that there was bad blood between them, because of RJD replacing him in Black Sabbath. Examples of this are IN this song, "Bad blood - Everybody knows it, But everybody doesn't care." I still stick to this song meaning, just because RJD is the man, but then so is Ozzy. Such a coincidence that the two both sung in a great band...hint hint Black Sabbath...

General Commenthmmm, it's a good explanation and I'm not trying to contradict you but I just see it as a fun song about a fictional "King Of Rock & Roll"

Song MeaningI remember reading in the liner notes to the Dio Anthology that this one was about Ozzy. It also applies to Elvis, as well. Really, any musician or singer who lights a fire under people and creates controversy.
