"I Am On Your Side" as written by Eron Bucciarelli-tieger, Micah Carli, James Ii Woodruff, Matthew Ridenour and Casey Calvert....
I never meant to hurt you
Sometimes these thoughts have a way making sense
Secrets that we keep turn into accidents
If you burn away the bonds with the fires of his wrists
The positive, the negative, have a way of blending in

End this now, we've gone too far
Let's take back words that turned to scars
If I could find a way to turn back time
Have to let you know I'm on your side

Took the easy way out, I showed my self doubt
The only way to ease the pain is to drink until I drown
I'll say it out loud my voice is the only sound
So listen up, I'll spell it out
I need your help, I need it now

End this now, we've gone too far
Let's take back words that turned to scars
If I could find a way to turn back time
Have to let you know I'm on your side

Am I now everything that you wanted me to be?
Tried my best, took a shot in the dark and I lost

End this now, we've gone too far
Let's take back words that turned to scars
If I could find a way to turn back time
Have to let you know I'm on your side

General CommentI think this song speaks for itself. It's amazing to me how well he can express what he's feeling about suicide or self-harm. It's a great song, from a great band.

    Keep rocking, [clare]

i dont see what you mean??... this song seems to me like...They had a bad relationship, and they faught alot, and it left emotional scars..and hes sorry becuz now that shes gone.. he realizes how much he needs her.. so hes On her side of the fight now...and he sees she was right....??? idk just my opinion....

General Commentmns504 I think your dead on with the meaning. The person he really loves is gone, and he can't move on with out her. When he finds her she is still mad at him, and thats when he says he is sorry and they should end this now and they've gone to far.

But that is only what I think.

General CommentThis song is amazing. The chorus sounds so sympathetic and the emotion flows. I think he's pointing at the fact that his true feelings are good towards her and he'd do anything to go back. He laments about his weakness of being doubting (about the relationship) and not being strong enough and how that also turned her off. I like the part about taking a stab in the dark and how he failed. Isn't that so true too often?

General Commenti think its about him having girl problems or something. and the girl isn't really pleased with him for what he has done so he's telling her that if he would want her to be happy and to let her know she's on his side. Side as in the bad sside and good side. But he's on the bad side to her. But he says he's sorry and wants to be on her side.
