"Tru" as written by Torquil John Campbell and Christopher Allen Seligman....
True
What the man say is true
All he's been telling you
Vapor trails align at evening time

We flew
In from the Cote D'Azur
Wearing our shades and sure
We were good to go in our Peugeot

We die
Each day and every night
Follow the swallows' flight
And we drank champagne like it was rain

We try
Try to outlast the day
Let that lone drummer play
Hell, I ain't afraid of the choice I made

It's true
All of this is true
All I've been telling you
From this rhyme it's the killing time, it's true

It's true, it's true, it's true
True, true, true

Helped by navigation so we went to the map
Half the way to China and we never came back

Helped by navigation so we went to the map
Half the way to China and we never came back

That night
Under the vineyard sky
We kissed and the world cried
As we hit descend and reached the end

So young
Deep in our hearts we knew
All I've been telling you is true

It's true
All of this is true
All I've been telling you
From this rhyme it's the killing time, it's true
All of this is true!

General Commentan uncommented stars song???! : o

    "That night
    Under the vineyard sky
We kissed and the world cried
As we hit descend and reached the end"

    favourite part.
    i still can't help but see a link to a lover's relationship..
maybe the guy is trying to prove to the girl that the relationship is real, and it's not going to go away, so just fall in love already: "So young/Deep in our hearts we knew/All I've been telling you is true".
    i'm taking guesses here.
maybe someone knows something about the places they're talking about??

General CommentI'm not too sure on the meaning exactly. Stars are notorious for writing fictional stories about lovers, so the places aren't necessarily historical.

The one thing I notice is how the title "Tru" is mispelled, which is quite ironic. If tru is mispelled, is the speaker lying? I see it as two young lovers who don't really know what love is yet. The ending "It's killing time" suggests that their brief and premature relationship ended.

General CommentWikipedia tells me that: the Cote d'Azur is the French name for the French Riviera, and that a Peugeot is a car manufacturer, once bike manufacturer.
