"One Little Slip" as written by Steven Page and Ed Robertson....
Well
I have a little dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I shall play.

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.

It has a lovely body
With legs so short and thin
And when it gets all tired
It drops and I will win.

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.

My dreidel is so playful
It loves to dance and spin
A happy game of dreidel
Come play now, let's begin.

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.

General CommentCool song - to me it's very clear (might be biased, though...probably is!) - it's about someone who while being in a relationship either kissed or did something else with someone other than their partner. He probably knew this person, as a friend or summat, and then comes the "it was a fusion of confusion and a few confounding things" where it just shows how they screwed up! They got into the "big mess." Can also see that in "I'll never live till I live down the one MISTAKE that follows me around." Doesn't seem like an affair, though - just "ONE little slip." Yep - that's what I reckon it means!

    General CommentChicken Little... xDDD

I think it's about a really oblivious guy. He liked this girl and the girl liked him, but he totally fucked things up. He's just realizing his mistake now in this song.

General CommentWhy's it got to be about a relationship? Isn't it possible that its about the same kind of situation Chicken Little was in?
"I get the felling in this town/I'll never live till I live down/The one mistake that seems to follow me around"
Like, when I hear this awsome song, I don't think "He fucked up with his girlfriend". I think: "man, he fucked up big time"
especially the "They'll forget about the SKY" bit. sorry, but not every song is about one's love life.
That said, this is a totally awsome song. I'm an incredibly late comer to the BNL scene. I heard this song on Chicken Little, thought "these guys rock", and looked up the band, got more of their music, and now i absolutely love them! and it's all cos of this song!

General CommentBut they?ll forget about the sky
When they all realize the sky's about to try to learn to fly or hit the ground

I think the second "the sky's" is "this guys" (as in 'this guy is'). Kind of a play on words - 'the sky' and 'this guy' sound the same when you say/sing them. And it also plays into the theme of the movie.
