"Break" as written by Clif Magness and Thomas Thacker....
I'm playing cool and swell
But I've been through all hell
Trying to make a break, think
And then forget about it
Better if it rings out
I'm acting through it all

Making up excuses
Running from your eyes
Drowning in your side
Flooded in our blood

Underneath your water
Bound and gagged, I fight
Gotta get undone
'Cause I don't want to break

I don't want to fake
I don't want to break
I don't want to fake
I just want to get out

It's closing in somehow
Pressed up against me now
Get under my skin, take
A knife and cut it out
I just want to get it out
The walls have closed somehow

Making up excuses
Running from your eyes
Drowning in your side
Flooded in our blood

Underneath your water
Bound and gagged, I fight
Gotta get undone
'Cause I don't want to break

I don't want to fake
I don't want to break
I don't want to fake
I just want to get out
I don't want to break
I don't want to fake
I don't want to break
I just want to get out

Turning blue and no surprise
I'm not breathing when I'm not inspired
Underneath your water
Bound and gagged, I fight
Gotta get undone
'Cause I don't want to break

I don't want to fake
I don't want to break
I don't want to fake
I just want to get out

General CommentDefinately one of my favourite Gob songs off the 'Going the distance' soundtrack. Looks like a Canadian version of Road Trip maybe? I dunno, but everyone should hear this song it's awesome.

General CommentGood song, but I don't get what it's about... I like the harpsicord in it [is it harpsicord?], awesome. I guess it's about being frustrated and just wanting to give up and get out of it? That's what I think anyway.
