General CommentThis song is a parody of John Lennon songs like "A Day In the Life" and Imagine. The lyrics are intentionally nonsensical and meaningless. The song was written by Neil Innes of the Rutles, but he was forced to include Lennon/McCartney due to alleged copyright violations. In reality, both the melody and the lyrics are original. Only the Lennon's style was copied.
