Dopesick couples on the lower east side
Can't keep it together without being high
Hold out your arms and let us save you
Hold out your arms and jab it in you
Oh oh oh
Lead us in alphabet down
Can't be polite or dance around
Without a proper fix inside the bathroom
Or a proper fixing of the hairdo
And on the jukebox there's a song I love
It plays on and on and on
On and on and on
If I don't get off the silent
May god strike me with lightning
I'm sick to death
And violently dying to begin
In the city
In the city
With it's songs
What a beautiful place [x5]

General Commentum yeah, its "elitists in the alphabet town" its sung rather slow and easy to hear it clearly. obviously, since hipsters with their hairdo are elitists, and if you know anything about nyc and the les, you know about alphabet city or in this song 'alphabet town'- aves A-D
