"Opportunity" as written by and Pete Murray....
And so it goes another lonely day
You're savin' time but you're miles away
Your flowers drowning in some bitter tea
For seeing lost opportunity

Find your mirror go and look inside
And see the talent you always hide
Don't go kid yourself, well not today
Satisfaction's not far away

Hold on now your exit's here
It's waiting just for you
Don't pause too long
It's fading now
It's ending all too soon you'll see

Soon you'll see

Your coffee's warm but your milk is sour
Life is short but your here to flower
Dream yourself along another day
Never miss opportunity

Don't be scared of what you cannot see
Your only fear is possibility
Never wonder what the hell went wrong
Your second chance may never come along

Hold on now your exits here
It's waiting just for you
Don't pause too long
It's fading now
It's ending all too soon you'll see

Soon you'll see

Hold on now your exits here
It's waiting just for you
Don't pause too long
It's fading now
It's ending all too soon you'll see

Soon you'll see
Soon you'll see
Soon you'll see
Soon you'll see

General CommentI love this song, it is so uplifting. It makes me want to go and do something with my life. To take all the opportunities thrown my way.

General CommentI was at his live concert, he said this is a song based on peoples lives when they are caught in a cross roads and they don't know what they are going to do at the time...
Kinda finding your way I guess...

General CommentWow. Pete Murray has finally done it. He's finally written a really great song. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy parts of the first ablum but there were some bland bits. and even the good bits were lacking something. But opportunity really hits the spot.

I agree with the previous comments. This song makes you want to get off your arse and take what opportunities arise, because if you pause to long... they'll be gone.

General Commentyeah your all pretty right, it's not real hard to work out but i like the songs and the similies in them..... i think there called similies... like

"Your coffee's warm but your milk is sour"

if you took that literally then you'd be like wtf? but he means something else by it. that's a similie right? oh well i like the song. : )

General CommentAfter listening to this song a billion times I listened to it again and came to the utter realisation of what it meant to me. I shouldnt keep quiet about my problems like ive been doing for months now. I should reach out and call for help before its too late. The problems arent gonna sort themselves out and are just gonna get worse. They wouldnt have been this bad if I'd told someone right at the start. But I should "never wonder what the hell went wrong" because my "second chance may never come along". My second chance of telling someone. I got so used to pretending I was ok that it was instinct to say 'yeah, im fine' all the time. Anyway, I will tell someone and im sorry for just dumping all this boring info in ya but I had to get it out.
Anywayz, awesome song! Pete Murray rulz!
