"Good Love Is On The Way" as written by John Mayer, Pino Palladino and Steven Jordan....
I'm a lazy lover
Undercover, wasting time
Then one day in summer
I changed my number
To cut my line

Good love is on the way
I'll be lonely but I know I'll be okay
Good love is on the way

Three years broken hearted
Now her ghost is finally gone
Done with broken people
This is me I'm working on

'Cause I know..

Good love is on the way
I'll be lonely but I know I'll be okay
Good love is on the way

Good to go for wherever I'm needed
Bags are packed and I'm down by the door
You can take all the tricks up my sleeve,
I don't need them anymore

Good love is on the way
Good love is on the way
I'll be lonely but I know I'll be okay
Good love is on the way

General CommentIt's a great song about getting out of a bad relationship, or a heartache from a breakup that's lasted way too long. He knows that it'll be hard and lonely to let go of the girl (or the ghost of their relationship), but he's optimistic because he's anticipating the GOOD love that is, well, on the way.

General CommentI LOVE this song! Love love love love it!
"done with broken people, this is me I'm working on,"
is one of the lines I love in this song. I think it means that you're sick of trying to 'mend' other people, and help them with their relationships while at the same time forgetting about your own. So its time to start working on yourself. This time you're the broken person. I dont know it makes sense to me.

General CommentThis is definitely one of my favorite songs of his. When i got out of a long term relationship i was hurting pretty badly, but listening to this song gave me optimism that i would find the "good love" that i'm supposed to have with the person i'm supposed to be with.
