I'm wasting my time
I'm spending my days
Losing my mind
Losing my way
I stumbled across
Your name in a song
Thinking of us
Made the day twice as long

Tonight I'm going out
To find someone I can't stand
To live without
I'm going out

I'm wasting my time
I'm spending my ydays
Losing my mind
Losing my way
I stumbled across
Your song in my mind
It got me thinking
I'm wasting my time

We'll be as happy as can be
I'll love her endlessly
This time it'll be for real
We'll have what
We could never have
Do what we could never do
I just wish she could be you

General CommentI think it's about a relationship with a girl that he wants, but knows will never happen. So he replaces her with others. He knows thinking about the girl he can't have is a waste of time and driving him crazy... but he can't stop.

General CommentI think that he's trying to find an ideal love, more than anything -- "I found your name in a song" -- I don't think he means it literally, just the idea of this girl. But it ends up that he's just going to go out and find some girl that will never be the one that he really is obsessed with.

    Um, an imaginary unrequited love?
