"Voices" as written by Stephen P. Spencer, Scott Rosser and Paul Geoffrey Spencer....
We sailed over seven seas
Searching for that missing key
Unlock a new
World harmony

Climb the highest mountain range
Then we took the longest train
Looking for our
Perfect refrain

I hear voices in the sky
(In the sky)
In the sky
(In the sky)

Hidden rhythms in the rivers run
Blinding beats in the desert sun
Hear them today
Play all as one

Distant voices in a far off sky
Led us to the elusive prize
To the new sound
We testify

Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Yey-E-Yeh
Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Yeh

There's hidden rhythms in the sun
In the sun
I hear voices in the sky
In the sky

General CommentWell this is pretty much linked to the story of "the beach". Trying to find that hideaway, free from commercialism and an exotic paradise.

    "Climb the highest mountain range
Then we took the longest train
    Looking for our
    Perfect refrain"
    and "unlocking a world harmony"
Just about going to extreme lengths to get a perfect paradise reward.

And, the song is just ace anyway :p

General CommentTo me this song means the end of something beautiful, pretty much like in the movie. Almost all good things come to an end and it has to be accepted. Which also means a new beginning or chapter.

When I listen to this song it always touches me and makes me feel like there is hope for whatever is in my desires. Also listen to it helps me let go of things that need are better off left in the past.

I am still climbing the mountain to find my "perfect refrain"
