"Wonderful Life" as written by and Colin Vearncombe....
Here I go out to sea again
The sunshine fills my hair
And dreams hang in the air

Gulls in the sky and in my blue eyes
You know it feels unfair
There's magic everywhere

Look at me standing
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine

No need to run and hide
It's a wonderful, wonderful life
No need to hide and cry
It's a wonderful, wonderful life

Sun in your eyes
The heat is in your hair
They seem to hate you
Because you're there

And I need a friend
Oh, I need a friend
To make me happy
Not stand here on my own

Look at me standing
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine

I need a friend
Oh, I need friend
To make me happy
Not so alone
Look at me here
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine

General CommentGeez, no-one's commented on this song yet. I think it's a great song. To me the lyrics are confusing however. Half the song seems to be optimistic, while the other half seems so sad. I'm not 100% percent sure what the real meaning of the song is, so I hope someone else will comment on what they think.

General Commentthe best song ever, its makes me cry sometimes, but the ambient feel of the song, takes m to another place away from this world, its like a fantasy kind of song. i like her version the best out of all the other version. such a magical voice.
