Goodnight,
Tomorrow morning isn’t far
I will be interesting
When you’re alone and feeling bored
I watched a city cry, I thought I lost you in the fall
I thought of everything, I cannot lose you anymore

So won’t you stay? I’m drowning in the rain
Darlin’ say the words and I will stay the night

I’m just the trouble that you need
I’m just a year away from when the future swallows me
And when you’re left behind
It takes a lifetime to be seen
Cuz something happened here
Somehow we’re younger in our dreams

So won’t you stay? I’m drowning in the rain
Darlin’ say the words and I will stay

You’re different, and all the rest are the same
Yes, you’re different, and all the rest are the same

General CommentI can't get enough of this one. The only thing that could make it better is if Amanda's vocals weren't so buried on the chorus. Critics rag on these guys for sounding too much like their influences or contemporaries...whatever...it's just good fun music.

General CommentThis is one of those songs that should be a major hit on commercial radio, it is that solid. I find this band quite fresh actually and I'm sure their contemporaries or influences would love to have come up with some of these tunes, such as this one. Great music, melodies, hooks. What's wrong with that?

General CommentI couldn't agree more Marcus. fuck pitchfork. this is good stuff. my friend's usually think I listen to weird shit...when they want a sample of what I listen to this album is atop my list of recommendations. I have received only positive feedback from the most critical of audiences. Seriously, how can you not like this tune?

General Commentlets face it guys: a whole lotta music out there is rehashed from other music. it's pretty damn rare for a totally original band to come along...TV on the Radio comes to mind, but I digress...in fact you have to question if it's even possible. everyone is influenced by someone. as long as they take all that inspiration and mold it into something awesome, Im cool with it. like this song, for instance.
picnic at the disco? not so much...

He's talking about 9/11! He's from NYC, it makes sense.
