"Forget Me Not" as written by and Lucie Joanne Silvas Howard New....
Forget me not, I ask of you
Wherever your life takes you to
And if we never meet again
Think of me every now and then

We had just one day to recall
Now all I want is something more
Than just a fading memory
Left wondering what could have been.

Isn't it a shame, that when timing's all wrong
You're doing what you never meant to,
There's always something that prevents you.
Well I believe in fate, it had to happen this way
But it always leaves me wondering whether
In another life we'd be together.
We should feel lucky we can say, we've always got yesterday

And as I leave it all behind
You're still emblazoned in my mind
And for that very special day
Nobody loved me in that way

Forget me not, I ask of you
Wherever your life takes you to
And if we never meet again
Think of me every now and then

General Commenti'm in love with this song! anyone know what it means or it is just quite simple and about a break up and asking the other person not to forget you?

General Commentto me this song is about just leaving someone behind, whether it's because of death or just because its time for you to part. she's asking for the person to remember her.

for some wierd reason i keep relating it to the death of a person though. mostly because of the first two verses. theres something in the lines that seem to echo death and not ever being able to come back to the loved one again.

either way, i still think its a beautiful song, and it screams solace and heartache.

General Commentok if its about death, then thats a totally different question, but if its about having to part then how can you ask someone to not forget, isnt that just asking them to torture themselves so i think its cak!

General Commentthis is a very haunting track, especially the radio version with the added violins. I love it. It's Lucie asking her friend or boyfriend to remember her no matter what he does later after they have parted.
