"God's Army" as written by and Derek Gledhill Ryan Martin....
Tell me when to eat
Tell me when to breathe
Tell me what to think
And what to believe
Tell me when to cry
Who to trust and why
Send me off to die
Ill sacrifice my life

'Cause I'm ready and I'm waiting
To give my life for my country
I'm so sorry, Momma don't worry
Lets hope I'm fighting for gods army

Hold me as I pray
This is my last day
Before I go to save
Freedom from decay
God id like to say
Thankyou for the hate
Usual spend in pain
I'd probobally die in vain

Cause I'm ready and I'm waiting
To give my life for my country
I'm so sorry, Momma don't worry
Lets hope I'm fighting for gods army

I really why were fighting
I know there's gotta be a reason
Our government would never send us
Without a cause

So I'm ready and I'm waiting
To give my life for my country
I'm so sorry, Momma don't worry
Lets hope I'm fighting for gods army

General CommentThis is one of my faforit songs off the new album, it's about that in war, everyone beliefs that they're fighting for the "right" side, for God's side... about how religion is used allot as an exuce for war.

General Commentsmile empty soul loves president bush. Thats like saying thou shalt not kill isn't in the bible. Love the chorus,

    I really why were fighting
    I know there's gotta be a reason
Our government would never send us
    Without a cause

Didn't SES (me being lazy) extend their release date on their cd? why would they do that? Everyone that loves this band already has their cd and everyone knows it. They have lost millions of dollars because of this and even though i got their cd already i know i wll buy it when it comes out for the little cd pamphlet and support them.

General Commentanxiety won't be coming out guys. i don't know how informative you guys are in here. but their totally new album will be out october 24th and its called vultures. no anxiety songs will be on there.

i like this song. i love how sean gets his point across through sarcasm. he shows their ignorance that way cos they think they're right.

General CommentYeah anxiety may not be released for another 2 years...that's when SES will get rights to it I hear...it's an awesome album though.

I like the first guy's comment, completely agreed, religion is an excuse for war...

General CommentI was reading about this album and stumbled upon this:
"God's Army" continues Danielsen's sideways look at organized religion, rooted
in his childhood experiences with his devoutly religious mother, and pours
scorn on politicians who use faith as a manipulative tool. "I just think people
should have their own belief system - too many people have died in the name of
god, y'know?" this song is GREAT..would be awesome to have the album released one day..shit i'd buy it too just to support them, adios
