General CommentA very interesting piece on Ummagumma. Worth listening to on PF's most underrated album.

General CommentThe first and last are short, soft pieces, and the middle one is a long sequence of Nick Mason drumming.

General CommentMan this song is weird. Whole album is weird actually. Each member was given space to make one song on the studio sides of Ummagumma. Rick Wright did "Sysyphus", a 12-minute instrumental featuring mostly piano, Roger Waters did two shorter songs, "Grantchester Meadows" and "Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict", which consist mostly of animal noises and acoustic guitar, David Gilmour did "The Narrow Way", an 8-minute instrumental featuring guitar and guitar-made sounds, and Nick Mason did this: "The Grand Vizier's Garden Party", which aside from some flute in the beginning and end features only him drumming. On the whole it just all sounds like something only Pink Floyd could pull off, and that alone makes it worth listening to.

General Commenti wouldn't call it underrated. most people love it for the live album but not many like the studio album.

General CommentI love this song for some reason, and I really can't figure out why. I think that I should hate it, but I don't. Hmmm.
