We took a cab, so our flight comes back out number one
This contacts brought anaesthetic like the innocent gun
We can stand, and can fight with a black pressured knife
It wouldn't take quite enough, at the things you've comply

Death Dance Death Dance
Come dance with me
Come dance with me
Death Dance Death Dance
Death Dance Come Dance
Come Dance with me

You know you can't stay neutral
On a moving train
So pick a fucking side
And place the blame
Cause there's nothing worse
than a bird with wings who doesn't fly

So wake up and smell the flowers today
From the wake there sat a yeah I'm playing Monet
Let it out, tough love that's left in this world
And I don't lie anymore, your impossible sale

Death Dance Death Dance
Come Dance with me
Come Dance with me
Death Dance Death Dance
Death Dance Come Dance
Come Dance with me

You know you can't stay neutral
On a moving train
So pick a fucking side
And place the blame
Cause there's nothing worse
than a bird with wings who doesn't fly

There's no horrid places
Americans don't die like this
There's no horrid places
A-ME-RI-CAN!
There's no horrid places
Americans don't die like this
There's no horrid places
Americans don't die like this

You know you cant stay neutral
On a moving train
So pick a fucking side
And place the blame
Cause there's nothing worse
than a bird with wings who doesn't

You know you cant stay neutral
On a moving train
So pick a fucking side
And place the blame
Cause there's nothing worse
than a bird with wings who doesn't fly

This song is absolute shit, hopefully this was just a one time thing for them. Now I love Senses Fail, I liked them before everyone even knew about them, but this, what the hell is this, this is not your poetic, melodic, music that Senses Fail are known for and looked up to for.

this song is about, to me at least, about how in theses hostile political times you're forced to choose a side to be on whether you like it or not. no one allows you to be neutral, or just stay out of it, you're either republican or democrat and thats it. the bridge is about and where the song gets its name is about how this war will be end or death of america, and he(buddy) is pleading that america shouldn't do this to itself

The true meaning of the song if you haven't noticed is the fact that we got involved in a war. We can't just stop now like the people want us to hence the line "There's still war on page six, America don't die like this." Also, there is two sides, those for, and those against the war hence the line "pick a fucking side". Then "place the blame" in turn means you blame the U.S. for getting in the war or you blame the middle east. There is no neutrality. What brings me to the point that the song is pro-war is the line that says "cause there's nothing worse than bird with wings who doesn't fly." The path of war was inevitable (moving train) and since we had the power to retaliate or act (bird with wings) it would be wrong not to (who doesn't fly).

I think my "analysis is fairly accuracte. Use support it helps. AMERICANS UNITE

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
