Looking down on the smallest thing
I squint so I can focus
You hold your hands like they were broken
See me look and say your joking
No, I don't think I get it
Would not show I don't know it
No it's best not to show up

In the city you must make yourself light
In the city you don't have to decide
Sometimes check yourself make sure your alive

Targets stare you down at night
Look away they can't destroy you
Please stop pacing and distracting
I'm not sure that love this acting
No, I don't think get it
Would not show I don't know it
Yes it's best not to show up

In the city you must make yourself light
In the city you don't have to decide
Sometimes check yourself make sure your alive

No, I don't think get it
Would not show I don't know it
Yes it's best not to show up

In the city you must make yourself light
In the city you don't have to decide
Sometimes check yourself make sure your alive

Looking down on the smallest thing
I'm not seeing anything

I think this song is about how innercity life is more difficult on the emotional level. I think it's about how you have to keep perspective on your life when you live in a big city. You'll be surrounded by fake people, or people who won't pay you any attention, so you need to make sure you always have your feet on the ground.

    This song is money. Money.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
