"Bad Ass" as written by Shirley Ann Manson, Bryan David Vig, Douglas Elwin Erickson and Steve W Marker....
Alright!
Okay!

It's guys like you, baby
Give the boys a bad name
Keep your hands where I can see 'em
Get the man out of me

Be my fancy boy
Come to my room
Glarin' at my eyes
Turn around that door

Woop woop!
Alright! Okay!

You have a world of your own.
Da ba da da
Such a bad ass da ba do
Ba da ba da do

Be my fancy boy
Come to my room
Glarin' at my eyes
Turn around that door

So head on home tonight, honey
Just be glad we didn't kill anybody
And I swear I'll never tell anybody
You were always looking at yourself in my mirror

So be there a quarter but get out son (?)

Ba da ba ba ba ba ba da da da da

We'll be squealing like animals when
I'm on my knees
Oh, I'm desperate
And I hear that you are liking me

Be my fancy boy
Come to my room
Glarin' at my eyes
Turn around that door

So head on home tonight, honey
Just be glad we didn't kill anybody
And I swear I'll never tell anybody
You were always looking at yourself in my mirror

So be there a quarter but get out son (?)

Think you're such a bad ass
Think you're such a wrap
Think you're such a rebel
Da duh da da dat

Think you're such a bad ass
Da da da da da

Be my fancy boy
Come to my room
Glarin' at my eyes
Turn around that door
Be my fancy boy
Come to my room
Glarin' at my eyes

I'm pure platinum
Got the disk at home
Why do I feel so bad?
Na na na na fun

General CommentIt's on the European and Australian release for Run Baby Run.

It's full title is Bad Ass (2003 Ruff Demo).

Its a good, brash song for blasting loudly on your stereo - the guitars are nice and filthy.

Always thought it was about a woman having an affair; "Just be glad we didn't kill anybody", but she's putting this guy down and emasculating him. Clearly shes got him wrapped around her finger - her play thing.

General CommentI think instead of "Glarin' at my eyes" it's "Glarin' at my thighs".

I'm not trying to be dirty minded, I'm just really pretty sure that's what she says. It makes more sense that way, you know? The rest of the lyrics are dirty.
