For the record

No one will understand
What it is all about

The dead name
Backwards

Amen

It just happened
A long time ago

33 years

Again and again and again
What is it all about

It is a promise
Of a lifetime

Never recorded

General CommentI believe this is just train of thought...I do this often, not in serous terms tho, connecting words, and phrases and sentences as they come and how they feel to me.

K.Rygg has admitted to doing such writings.

General CommentYeah, i think it's probably just a string of ideas, or perhaps something to do with memories, like a person's own private record of their life. im probably wrong...amazing song though, and the video's reeally weird

General CommentI think a lot of the lyrics point to it being about Christ. According to a lot of sources, he was about 33 when he died. Also, it may have to do with how his original teaching were distorted into what we know as Christianity today- the lyrics "For the record, no one will understand what it is all about" especially support this. "It is a promise of a lifetime never recorded." Because of the fact that the gospels were actually written years after his death, we can only speculate about some of what happened in his lifetime. If you watch the video with this in mind, it actually makes more sense.
