"I Am a Scientist" as written by and David/taylor Bowie....
I got it
Woo hoo woo
Woo hoo woo
Got it got it
Woo hoo woo
In me the scientist
Always get stuck on always trying this
I try to live on science alone
Analysis and freaky sensitivity
We've gotta live on science alone
I got it woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
We've gotta live on science alone

Religiously I'm speaking on the science 'cause
We've gotta live on science alone
I tell you what mathematically I'm having it
I want to live on science alone
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
We've gotta live on science alone

In me the scientist
Always stuck on always trying this
I try to live on science alone
Analysis and freaky sensitivity
We've gotta live on science alone
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Woo hoo woo
Yeah uh I am a scientist
'Cause I can live on science alone
We've gotta live on science alone

Yeah uh I am a scientist
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Yeah uh I am a scientist
Yeah uh I am a scientist

General CommentOball, you nailed it. It's a pro-science, anti-religion, nihilist song.

General Commentno no no, i think you're both wrong. This is the DANDY WARHOLS (named after ARTIST Andy Warhol). This song is very tongue in cheek. They are making fun of people who "try to live on science alone." Saying they need something else (art, creativity) to make them feel more fulfilled.

General CommentVery facetious song. "religiously I'm speaking on the science" clinches it. Like it or not, even the hardest of sciences require a modicum of faith.

General CommentThe fact that the Discovery Channel uses this as bumper/theme music for science programming makes me laugh. Did they not read the lyrics to the whole song? The irony his hilarious. Don't get me wrong... I love the song. I don't necessarily agree with the lyrics.

If it's catchy, it works. That's the point though. Can't argue with that, in the end...

General CommentI am a scientist, and I approve of this song.

I would like to live on science alone. Don't bother with useless crap like religion and art - science is where it's at.
