"We're Just Living" as written by and Alicja Anna Trout Jimmy Lee Lindsay....

Come on now honey you can drag me by the legs
I know what I am and I'm not scared
I know what I am come on grab me by the neck

We're just living and we wanna have some fun
We're just living don't wanna hurt no one
Come on now honey you can scratch me down the back

I know what I am and I am not scared
I know what I am; I'm an animal
The darkness won't forgive in this cave I live
I'm an animal and this is how I live

My InterpretationSeems like it's about someone who likes a bit of aggressive behavior in their love life. Or just someone who doesn't adhere to the societal laws of what's conventional in a relationship. Someone who is up for whatever.

Or could be an observation about people thinking that the desire to mate should be structured and formal. A person who believes we are just another form of animal on this planet so why restrict ourselves in our physical relationships and adhere to any repressive rules?

Seems pretty direct, but it could also be any/all of the above in a sarcastic way.

General CommentLet me take a shot at this one since Terror is obviously terrifed of responding to my question :D It's about a guy who doesn't want (or is frightened of) committment. He's been out playing the field and knows his sins won't be forgiven by her. And he doesn't care (a typical sentiment by some who like to PRETEND they don't want or need anyone). As for Terror Guy below, if restriction means being in a monogomous love-filled relationship than bring on all the restriction! I doubt anyone (including any man) would say that he would prefer to have someone cheat on him with another.
