There are two versions of this song. One is a cover of "Never Understand" by JMC and another is an original song on the band's debut album. The cover of the JMC song uses the...
===Both the pioughd and Butthole Surfers EP use the same lyrics===

Something she said to me last night,
Something she said to me.
I saw the sun rising up over my daddy's grave
and I ate some cheese and rice today.

Something she said to me last night,
Something she said to me.
She's been talking... talking behind my back!
This time she's gonna bleed!

You talkin to me? x7

Something she said to me last night,
Something she said to me.
I saw the sun rising up over my daddy's grave
and I ate some cheese and rice today.

Something she said to me last night,
Something she said to me.
She's been talking behind my back again.
This time she's gonna bleed!

Something she said to me last night,
Something she said to me.
Cuz when I kicked her in the teeth she was half out the door
I just know she'll be back for more!

General CommentThank God someone notice it too!

I am deeply grateful with you, Nothing952, since I noticed the resemblance between the two songs years ago, but then I thought it was so obivous that it had to be my imagination.

    General CommentI think its
Something she said to me last night,
    Something she said to me.
I saw the sun rise up over my daddy's grave
And I ate some cheese and rice today.

Also, I always heard it as "when i kicked her in the teeth she was out the door, I just know she'll be back for more." Gibby is from Texas, he is channeling a drunken rant from a typical redneck of that region.

General CommentThis is obviously a parody of The Jesus and Mary Chain (with the feedback), sounding particularly like "Never Understand." It's very likely the lyrics don't mean shit. They just put together whatever lyrics they could that could go with the rythym.

General CommentFirst off, AnnAction is correct with the lyrics. BUT, that's Paul Leary, the guitarist, singing.
