I'd tell you I'm sorry, but that would just mean another apology, that you won't accept. "Boy, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and everything you do or make. We were built to create mistakes." Well then, I'll offer my condolences, I really didn't know... You'd think after all this time I could learn a simple lesson, no wait, that's your line... No wonder I lost all our vacation money on a game of poker (I can't keep my face straight) when we both know, I couldn't take you any place you'd really want to go... So go- with him, I'd rather make you happy than have us both stay here alone... Waiting for the phone to ring cause we'd have so many things to say that we just can't share with each other anymore... And I'd rather be lonely all by myself... Don't act like you had other plans, you were gonna go with or without me, I was gonna stay home and watch movies, where everything turns out ok. The 'good' people always come home (to each other), and to put one up against the other, is just obsurd... I guess it's good to get the kids believing in fairy tales at an early age, they can sit and stare at the world in their plastic birdcage... Where's the moral, where's the lesson? Is it buried somewhere in the credits? That things aren't what they seem, and when we fall asleep we're more likely to have nightmares than sweet dreams... Everyday Vegas makes a truckload of green on suckers betting their life on true love... But once in awhile, someone strikes it rich, hits a homerun on a curveball pitch... But this is strike three and I'm out (and baby you were only hitting clean-up anyway)
