"Seven Days In Sunny June" as written by and Jason/mckenzie Kay....
The papers you've arranged
In a sense they're strange
They speak to me like constellations as we lie here
There's a magic I can't hold
Your smile of honey gold
And that you never seem to be in short supply of

Ooh
So baby let's get it on
Drinkin' wine and killin' time
Sitting in the summer sun
You know
I've wanted you so long
Why'd you have to drop that bomb on me

The lazy days
Crazy dolls
You said we've been friends for too long

Seven days in sunny June
But long enough to bloom
The flowers on the sunlight dress you wore in spring
The way we laughed as one
And then you dropped the bomb
But I know you too long for us to have a thing

Ooh
So baby let's get it on
Drinkin' wine and killin' time
Sitting in the summer sun
You know
I've wanted you so long
Why'd you have to drop that bomb on me

Ooh
So baby let's get it on
Drinkin' wine and killin' time
Sitting in the summer sun
You know
I've wanted you so long
Why'd you have to drop that bomb on me

Gotta get this
The stories in your eyes
Tell of silent wings
You fly away on

Seven days in sunny June
But long enough to bloom
The flowers on that sunbeamed dress you wore in spring
Yeah yeah
The way we laughed as one
Why did you drop that bomb on me

Ooh
So baby let's get it on
Drinkin' wine and killin' time
Sitting in the summer sun
You know
I've wanted you so long
Why'd you have to drop that bomb on me

Could it be this
The honey suckled dancing you'd seem to show me
Could it be this
For seven days in June I wasn't lonely
Could it be this
You never gave me time to say I love you
Could it be this
I know you don't believe me but it's so true
Don't walk away from me girl
I read the stories in your eyes
Don't you walk away from me girl
I read the stories in your eyes
Don't you walk away from me girl
I read the stories in your eyes
Don't you walk away from me
I read the stories in your eyes
If you've been telling me we've been friends for too long
Yeah
Why'd you want to drop the bomb
Telling me we've been friends for too long
Why'd you go and drop the bomb
You tell me that we've been friends for too long
Yeah

General CommentThey were friends for a very long time (The narrator and the person he's singing to).

They went on a vacation as friends. On this vacation the singer falls for the sing-ee. The sing-ee doesn't want to "ruin" what they have with a relationship.

He tries to convince the sing-ee that he truly loves her and that he wants her to give him a chance.

General CommentWhat a cool easy nice song...it makes me long for the summer, makes me remember of those great times of your life that you share with your friends and maybe your special one. Makes me long for those lazy free days with some romance in your head...

    General Commenti can really relate..
for some reason people think that just because you've been friends for more than a period of time, you can't do anything else more serious than that.

i just want a chance too haha.

Song MeaningWell the singer/narrator of the song is friends with this girl who is most likely a close friend of his or they just met in June and now he's falling in love with her but she says they've been friends too long to start dating meaning she didn't want to risk their friendship and now he's trying to convince her that he loves her and just wants a chance because this is one of times when he (a. Met her or (B. Are close friends and this is his first time not being alone/not dating anyone this Summer/Spring in June!

General CommentThe song has a very deep and meaningful hidden message, very clever. To the normal eye like you all say it's about a friend and a girl. The true meaning of the song is actually Infact in regards to the London bombings that happened the month before the song was released. Pay close attention to detail now when listening to it, and it secretly and geniusly makes sense.
