I walk pass the phone
I like to be alone
All on my own
Inside my paper home

Yeah well
I wish I was good
And I wish I was beautiful to you
And that you understood
That I'd fight a war for you
If I should
If I should

You sit by the fire
At least I imagine you do
L. Cohen sings Avalanche
I'm in a book, so are you
I wish you where here
To run, laugh and cry with me
Suddenly appear
To love, live and die with me

In dreams I'll save you from harm
In dreams you always worship me
Like I've always worshipped you
In dreams we're together
It's you and me
That I see
Yeah that I see

I can always pretent
When I don't want to be alone
That you're back again
Safe in our paper home

Things I've done wrong
Countless in name and number
And my pride feels no pain
So I run off to hide my shame

In dreams I'll save you from harm
Yes in dreams you will always worship me
Like I've always worshipped you
Oh in dreams we're together
It's you and me
That I see
Too bad it's just a dream

Maybe...
Nevermind

General Commentbesides that it's beautiful, it reminds me of my mom,i was too young to really appriciate the time i had with her,so i really wanted to have fun with her,and as it saids in the lyrics run, laugh and cry with her.so it's nice and sad at the same time to dream about it and remember her.

and the singer, bart can sing it beautiful.

General CommentI gues that "Paper home" means a bit of insecurity, paper isn't a strong material, it won't protect you from the rain or wind, while that's what a house, your home, should do. He's insecure because his relationship has ended, and he misses his girl.
