I screamed out your name
even my voice will probably never reach you
but you know, now I'm ok with that.
some day in my heart you'll be...

I'll dream tonight, dreams of you.
because of that letter I put under my pillow
my dreams are too cruel, my breath is cut off
i always painfully awaken at four in the morning

time is too long
time is too painful
the dreams don't stop
love freezes to death
on a cold night
on this long night

my consciousness splintered and powdered
memories scattered about
holding your ring so tightly that my tears wet the pillow

so i couldn't hear it, i blocked my ears to your voice
one more scar added to my wrist
melting into the wound... you

i am breaking burning the letter its reduced to ash
i am breaking destroy my heart its reduced to ash
i am breaking losing you i love you.

General CommentThis is one of Dir en grey's best songs in my opinion. This song is about how Kyo misses and still loves his fiance, who left him.

Back in La:sadies days, Kyo wanted La:sadies become a more famous band. Kiseki did not however. So, they agrued about it, and at that time Kyo was engaged to a woman. That woman left Kyo, and went off with Kiseki, when Kiseki left La:saides.

Dir en grey was made after that, Ever since that day, Kyo told himself that he wouldn't make songs which were happy or cheerful.

....Or at least, that's what I believe...

General CommentWow, I'm suprised that there's only one other comment on this besides my own. This song is amazing, especially the Blitz 5 Days performance. Kyo put so much power and emotion into the song at Blitz

General CommentThis is such a great torch song near the end... Even so.. can't help but think of mine. no sence wallowing in the past though.. I've let go of the part of my soul that resembles this song, but I still watch it from afar.

General Commentfor the first line I think 'I screamed for you, but you're not here to here me' could be a better translation.
    I'm not sure though.
also 'melting into the wound... you' could also be 'Becoming the wound...my darling'
Anata is a familier term often used by couples, it could be translated to darling, so everything Kyo's used 'anata' as 'you' could also be 'darling'

    Maybe that makes more sense.

    >> This song makes me cry. The live from Blitz 5 days is amazing. tears me up every time.

General Commenti think this song is maybe about how someone was supposed to marry someone else, but for whaetever reason it never happened.
"holding your ring so tightly that my tears wet the pillow"
the ring could be a wedding ring.
