"Ironside" as written by and Quincy D. Jones....
You don't ask much now
You don't ask much of me
Now
You don't belong here
But you'll never leave
Now

Don't ask me please, not anyone
Just let me be
I tried to be like anyone
When I'm alone with me

You took the long way
You took the long way home
Again
Now you sleep late
Now you sleep alone
With them

Don't ask me please, not anyone
Just let me be
I tried to bleed like anyone
When I'm alone with me

Wouldn't it be sweet
To let a good thing die?
Make my life complete
Make me wonder why

Don't ask me please, not anyone
Just let me be
I tried to bleed like anyone
When I'm alone with me

General CommentI think its about knowing the truth about someone who seems to have everything, who seems to fit in so well... when really when they're alone, they're a completely different person. And you know that you could kind of expose the truth about this person, ("wouldnt it be sweet to let a good thing die?") although they really dont want you to do that ("you dont ask much now, you dont ask much of me now"), and maybe you feel like you have something to hold over that person in a way? I dont know if I'm explaining myself very well here, but this is an amazing song, I love how evil Sam sounds when he sings the verses... and the way it goes from loud and harsh to softer and more melodic.

General Commentthe words 'criminally' and 'underrated' spring to mind.if i had my way, this song would have replaced Smells Like Teen Spirit as the most overplayed rock song of all time.

General CommentThe break down bit is absolutely beautiful.
I think it's about not fitting in.
And Ironside being a nickname for a wheelchaired person may have something on that.
