(Push the button)
(Push-push the button)
(Push the button)

Busy throwing hints that he keeps missing
Don't have to think about it
I wanna kiss and
Everything around it
But he's too distant
I wanna feel his body
I can't resist it
I know my hidden looks can be deceiving
But how obvious should a girl be?
I was taken by the early conversation piece
And I really like the way that he respects me

I've been waiting patiently for him to come and get it
I wonder if he knows that he can say it and I'm with it
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Catch this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cause

If you're ready for me, boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

I'm busy showing him what he's been missing
I'm kind of showing off for his full attention
My sexy ass has got him in a new dimension
I'm ready to do something to relieve this mission

After waiting patiently for him to come and get it
He came on through and asked me if I wanted to get with him
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Won't miss this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cause

If you're ready for me, boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

If you're ready for me, boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

(Push the button)
I've been dropping so many hints (push-push the button)
(Push-push)
You're still not getting it (push-push the button)
Now that you've heard everything I have to say (push the button and let-)
(Push-push the button)
Where we gonna go from here? (Push-push the button and let-)
(Push the button)

After waiting patiently for him to come and get it (push the button)
He came over and asked me if I wanted to get with him (push the button)
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning (push the button)
Won't miss this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cause (push-push the button)

If you're ready for me, boy (for me, boy)
You'd better push the button and let me know (let me know)
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

If you're ready for me, boy (push the button, baby)
You'd better push the button and let me know (push the button, baby)
Before I get the wrong idea and go (push the button, baby)
You're gonna miss the freak that I control (baby)
(I control)

If you're ready for me, boy (ooh)
You'd better push the button and let me know (ooh)
Before I get the wrong idea and go (ooh)
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

I love this song. Mutya's voice is really nice. Same with Heidi & Keisha (sp?), but Mutya is just wow. It's a shame she left the band though. I'm not too pleased with Amelle, but I'll always be a fan of the Sugababes.

& about the song.. I agree with yellow_flowers, it's about a girl who keeps dropping hints (that she wants him, obviously), but the guy didn't get it. Yup. =)

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
