He's utterly sarcastic- aesthetically confused
He tells me I'm bombastic I want to be his muse
An ordinary person who climbed into his void
Would only wake up bitter and deeply paranoid

He's unenthusiastic. Emotionally abused
He thinks that it's fantastic- I'd walk ten miles in his shoes
As I watch him disappearing. I know that it's not right
I love him completely, At least for tonight

Do do do
whoa ooh ooh whoa

There's a lack of understanding - a mutual malaise
He thinks I'm reprimanding with my uncertain gaze
Though I can't conceal my feelings, Like he can't purge his
pain
Cause once he sees a mirror, logic goes down the drain

He's unenthusiastic, emotionally abused
He thinks that it's fantastic I'd walk ten miles in his shoes
As I watch him disappearing - I know that it's not right
I love him completely
At least for tonight

My manorexic
whoa ooh ooh whoa
My manorexic
whoa ooh oh whoa

There's a roughness to our romance - A sadness to his step
And though he won't admit it, I know he's often wept
Perhaps it's just frustration, at stars he'll never reach
Reflecting his self image, Bleeding poetry in the sheets

He's unenthusiastic, emotionally abused
If I wrap him up in plastic, I'll save the parts he'll never use
I watch him disappearing - I try to hold on tight
Can't love him completely
At least not tonight

My manorexic
whoa ooh ooh whoa
My manorexic
whoa ooh oh whoa

General CommentNever reffer to Scarling as emo.

You're a total moron, if that's what you precieve.

    General Commentgreat song great song. about sensitivity and being pretty helpless when someone you love is in denial/pain/blah. i don't really understand the term 'manorexic' though. maybe they just coined the two terms together because it sounded cool? -_-;;

General CommentIt could really be about a manorexic (anorexic man)
Possibly a little too simplistic of me, but look:
"Though I can’t conceal my feelings
Like he can’t purge his pain
Cause once he sees a mirror
logic goes down the drain "

Pretty obvious there. But the 'manorexia' could be a simple metaphor for someone losing control and mentally starving themselves.

General CommentThis Song Is Clearly About A Man (I'm Guessing A Friend) Who Is Anorexic.
"wake up bitter and deeply paranoid" Paranoid Because He Is Believing He Is Overweight.
    "He’s unenthusiastic. Emotionally abused
He’s thinks that it’s fantastic- I’d walk ten miles in his shoes
As I watch him disappearing. I know that it’s not right"
Unenthusiastic Because He's Become Emaciated, He's An Emotional Wreck Basically. However, He Still Thinks It's Fantastic To Be The Way He Is. He Continues To Lose Weight 'I Watch His Disappearing' His Friend Cannot Help Him But Wishes She Could.
"He thinks I'm reprimanding with my uncertain gaze
Though -I can’t conceal my feelings …Like he can’t purge his
    pain
Cause once he sees a mirror…. logic goes down the drain" His Friend Sees Him As Is Worrying At How Thin He Has Become, She Wants To Help Him But He Won't Let Her. He Can't Purge His Pain But Tries To Through Purging His Food. He's Looking In The Mirror, Still Seeing Himself Overweight.
"And though he won’t admit it… I know he’s often wept
Perhaps it’s just frustration, at stars he’ll never reach
Reflecting his self image..." He Knows Deep Down He's Seriously Ill But Trys To Make Himself Believe He's Okay. He'll Never Reach His Goal Weight Because One Does Not Exist. It Just Gets Lower Each Time.

General CommentAlthough I agree with the idea of him being an anorexic man, what about the line "He’s utterly sarcastic- aesthetically confused / He tells me I’m bombastic I want to be his muse :
I guess the second half could be him being irratated by her constant complaining about him losing the weight and being unhealthy, while she wants to be his reason to stop starving himself. But I still don't know about the sarcastic part. any help?

General CommentI love this song. But I can't figure out what she is singing after the chorus. Sounds a little like, "My man fic...", but that makes no sense. Any ideas?

General Commentis it just me or doesn't this song just scream manson?
    think about it.
just read the first line over again while keeping him in mind and you'll see it.
and if it really is about a man with anorexia, it would still make sense to tie it to manson because he's said (in an interview on spin) that he really tries to watch his weight.
