"New Toys" as written by and The Cooper Temple Dan Fisher....
We came we played we drifted way
We came we played but it got away oh no
What's happening to us?

Well I'll just shut my eyes till we get back home
Til we touch back down and keep playing dumb
And I'm carving my own little master piece
Go ahead cut deep but don't tell the boys

I tried but now I can't feel a thing
Just gagged and bound and clipped at the wings oh no
What's happening to us?

Well I'll just shut my eyes till we get back home
Til we touch back down and keep playing dumb
And I'm carving my own little master piece
Go ahead cut deep but don't tell the boys

General CommentI cant believe nobody had post a comment to that song. really good song. I think its about remembering the good old days. maybe a friendship which has broken.

General CommentI've always that this was about self-injury, or maybe self-injury used as a metaphor for something else... This part especialy:
"And I'm carving my own little master piece
Go ahead cut deep but don't tell the boys"

Oh, and I also think it has something to do with people turning their back. The lyrics are very detatched and remorseful.

Yeah. and I agree with the whole idea of the friendship breaking
