Another Day
Some Other Way
I Fall along the wayside
Drifting away
And What I need
Inside of me
I'll find a way to say
And push it all away
I'm holding on to anything
I'm floting here in space
I'm reaching out for anyone
To save me from this place
I can't remember anything
I'm lost without a trace again

So far away into the gray
I'm trying to remember
And find the words to say
Another day
Some other way

Another Day
Some Other Way
I Fall along the wayside
Drifting away
And What I need
Inside of me
I'll find a way to say
And push it all away
I'm holding on to anything
I'm floting here in space
I'm reaching out for anyone
To save me from this place
I can't remember anything
I'm lost without a trace again
I'm waiting here for anyone
I'm floating here in space
I'm reaching out for anyone
To save me from this place
I can't remember anything
I'm lost without a trace again

I love this song It's my favorite off the album. I think, THINK the song Is about A guy who Is trying to tell A girl how he feels about her but he can't find the courage to do so, and he waits till another day so he can built up some courage. But everyday that goes by and him not telling her he feels as If he's stuck or lost without her. IDK somewhere In that area

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
