"Agony" as written by and Mark O. Everett....
Am I gonna be alright?
No I'm not gonna be alright
Nothin' is alright now
Am I gonna see the sun come up?
Or am I goin' down?
Cause everyday I'm here
All I feel is sheer
Agony

Friends tellin' me that maybe I need
Some psychiatric help
Yeah, they're always so quick to tell you
Just how to get on with it
I look into the mirror
And all I see is age, fear
And agony

If I could just remember what is was like
When I was younger
Before all the joy and happiness
Was replaced with hunger
Now all I've got to show
For the seeds that didn't grow
Is agony

General CommentThis song is about not fulfilling your dreams. A person who made many plans when he/she was younger and the plans made them happy but before they knew it time caught up with them and they find that really they acheived nothing and its left them feeling empty.

General CommentIt's not just about the lyrics, that song is powerful, you can hear the guitar crying all that agony.

General CommentI think it's about being at the bottom of the barrel, so to speak, whether it's related to love, or his life....ie, there is only one way up and is he going to get there..

In my opinion, I think it's a deep depression.
