None of this has changed, we are both the same.
Addicted to the one that left you, we can't forget you.
We colonized in war, predicting many more.
Addicted to the hand that fed you, you can't remember.

Your colour. I wonder...
The more trouble that we get in,
The more fun if we don't get caught up in it.
Prefabricate that skin!

Help me find out, if this is all predictable.
Or is your troubled fate, relentless in its ways, destroying all your days?

(These words coincide!!! Self-taught Suicide!!!)

General CommentThe first couple of riffs in this song sound a hell of a lot like Hot Cross.

General CommentHolloway in "House of Leaves" was left in the darkness too long and found the "Minatour" and Wax, Reston, Navidson and Jeb. He went crazy and shot at them and turned the gun on himself. I gotta read that book again.

General Commentwell the [ ] indicate something's missing and Holloway without the -lowa- is Holy

Also, the little guitar bit at the end is awesome.

General Commenthow does this song or "You Got A Deathwish Johnny Truant?" relate to House of Leaves?

General Commentthe lyrics don't apparently relate. either the writer has a personal interperetation of the lyrics for the book, or he's just being pretentious. could be either one.

also, nobody seems to get that the missing letters in holloway, backward, are "awol." think about that. when awol is missing, holloway is holy.

General CommentThose letters are missing because some kind of ash fell on the copy of The Navidson Record that Truant had and burned holes in a few pages talking about the Holloway Tapes. If you read House of Leaves it explains this; Truant just leaves blanks where the holes were rather than filling in the actual words Zampano wrote.
