"Faust" as written by and Damon(2d)/hewlett Albarn....
Shigoto no ato ni me ga sameru
Nani ka shinakucha
Shigoto no ato ni

Shigoto no ato ni me ga sameru
Nani ka shinakucha
Shigoto no ato ni (After a hard day)
Shigoto no ato ni (After a hard day, after a hard day)
Me ga sameru (It's time to wake up, after a hard day)
Nani ka chinakucha (I need a make-up, after a hard day)
Shigoto no atoni (After a hard day, after a hard day)

After a hard day (After a hard day)
It's time to wake up (After a hard day)
I need a make-up (After a hard day)
After a hard day (After a hard day)

General CommentVery good song. Sadly underated due to only being on the G-Sides album.

General CommentI love this song. Not sure what the lyrics are referring to, but the song as a whole invokes a lot of images in my mind.

General CommentAlso, this may be obvious, but Noodle is voiced by Miho Hatoshi, a japanese woman. I, however, can't translate. Anyone?

General CommentWell Faust sold his soul to the devil but I have no idea what this has to do with the lyrics.

General CommentI think it's about Murdoc to a degree. His middle name is Faust, yes. But you have to remember Murdoc didn't have a very enjoyable childhood.

    After a hard day
    It's time to wake up
    I need a make up
    After a hard day

It could refer to how hard each day would be for him with his father's abuse. When the 'hard day is done, he's finally able to really 'wake up' to what's going on but it's too late to do anything. He needs a day to 'make up' for what he's lost.

That's what always came to my mind, anyway.
