You must have thought
hey what's going on,
I'm gonna stop what I'm doing
and clear up
the mess you've made
things like that just can't be saved
you put your faith in time
I'm all done
what a thing to have done

what's that you say little girl?
what's that you say about your world
falling through?
what could I do?

Five years go by
and you sit and wonder why
you didn't stick to your guns in the first place
'cause now he's here
he's made his intentions clear
you're going to have to do it all again
some kind of friend

So, what's that you say little girl?
what's that you say about your world
falling through?
what could I do?

You told me that he was your friend
and often he'd show you the bend
but you never thought you'd go round it

And ten years have past
and each one of them little years clashed
with the colour of your thoughts
most of the time
tell me it won't be the last time

So, what's that you say little girl?
what's that you say about your world
falling through?
Don't be so stupid little girl
you're never gonna change this world
there is no power in one
I'll tell you what I'll do
it's power two (??)

You must have thought
hey what's going on,
I'm gonna stop what I'm doing
and clear up
but you, your fucked up.

I think this song refers to a girl who messed up their relationship and moved on..then later hers worlds falling through...but he cant do anything cos hes not with her and its her own fault "what could i do?" I then think that she messed up by maybe having an affair with someone she told him was friend? "You told me that he was your friend, And often he’d show you the bend. But you never thought you’d go round it" and so she tried to move on... but this "friend" has come back and is ruining her next relationship? " I’ll tell you what I’ll do, There’s power in two" he then was maybe thinking about helping her? or gettin back with her... or something along those lines so maybe shed get her act together... but then he decided not too or maybe she messed things up again" But you, you fucked up"

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
