it's not that you lie
it's that i believe when you do
i'll drown when i drown
would be ideal for us to
a kick in the mouth
would be a summer's day breeze
i'll change on my own
forget the word on the street

i'll trade you halos
when you deserve alot more
and sing you blue notes
to remind you of before

seems like forever
that i've been hugging rose stems
and feeding you flowers
to rid the taste left by him
recall the moments
when i made you smile just because
and that's where i'll be
with my crooked halo above

i'll trade you halos
when you deserve alot more
and sing you blue notes
to remind you of before

General CommentOh, my gosh. This song is just a masterpiece! It talks about how even though someone can treat you bad, we are still their with love and open arms. It say's
" it's not that you lie
it's that i believe when you do"
That loved blind all the harm one has cause , even though we know the truth, anything that is said by the person who is hurting us we seem to believe them. The writer doesn't hate anyone or blames anyone but him self. Either way this song is just beautiful. It's a song with a lot of passion and artwork. It's just a shame the band split already. :(
