"Rainbow Connection" as written by and Williams/ascher....
Why are there so many
Songs about Rainbows
And whats on the other side
Rainbows are visions
But only Illusions
Rainbows have nothing to hide

Whats so amazing
That it keeps us star gazing
And what do they think we might see
Oh, someday we'll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers, and me

Have you been half asleep
And have you heard the voices
Well, I've heard them calling my name
Is this the sweet sound
That calls the young sailors
The voice might be one and the same

I've heard it too many, many, many times to ignore it
Oh, who did I think it could be
Oh, someday we'll find it

The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me [Repeats]

General CommentI found the clip on YouTube and after the clip finished I melted into a metaphorical puddle of goo while literally going, "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."

I couldn't be bothered if he was gay, straight, a tranny or a hermaphrodite. This man has more talent in his little pinky than a lot of other waste of spaces in the recording industry. I definitely second what musictravelfun said.

General CommentJason is truly an amazing artist and I often think he builds in a lot of hints as to his search for his true and natural sexual orientation. It just seems he's either very very comfortable with both his feminine and masculine attributes or he's conflicted about coming out as a gay or bi man for all the reasons he and society have placed on him.

No matter, because he is already a beautiful person and has given so much of his talent to his fans, they will stand by him and his art.

General CommentHow do you figure Jason Mraz is gay? I mean really?
In any case, love this song and it's hippie message. Jason did another version of this song with Paul Williams. I like his solo version best.

General Commentmy favorite version of this song is by willie nelson. And Jason Mraz doesn't even compare to Willie.
