"For the rest of us" as written by and Stephen Fisher Justin Smith....
It seems like everybody knows
Your running in circles again
I fell into your perfect smile
No one should know about this

You keep your smile
I'll keep this to myself
You're a wonderful thing and that's obvious but
Don't light that cigarette again

You don't need a second opinion about anything or anyone at all
Seems like everybody knows that your not going to be around this time next year
Frontline demanding activity
The cash flow slows and now they need your dream

Your giving me a heart attack
But we'll keep this to ourselves
So that was running through my mind as I walked right through the room to you

General CommentI think that he is inlove with someone, and they are dying. So he is saying goodbye, and the cig part, is about him wanting her to focus on him, and focus on the moment. Maybe she has cancer, and that isnt what he wants her to do? Just my htoughts. Good song though. I love this band.

General CommentThese lyrics are a bit wrong, I can't believe no one corrected it ... :

    It seems like everybody knows,
    You're running in circles again.
I fell into your perfect smile,
No one should know about this.

    You keep your smile,
And I’ll keep this to myself.

    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious,
But don’t light that cigarette again.
    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious,
You don’t need a second opinion about anything ...

It seems like everybody knows that you're not gonna be around this time next year.
Frontline demanding activity, cash flows slows and now they need your dream

You're giving me a heart attack,
But I’ll keep this to myself.

    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious,
But don’t light that cigarette again.
    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious,
You don’t need a second opinion about anything or anyone at all.

So what was learned from this lesson as I walked right through the room.
So what was learned from this lesson as I walked right through the room to you.

So what was learned from this lesson as I walked right through the room...
    (to you)

    It's obvious

    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious,
But don’t light that cigarette again.
    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious
You don’t need a second opinion about anything or anyone at all.
    You’re a wonderful thing and that’s obvious,
    But don’t light that cigarette...
