"Tugboat" as written by and Michael Dean Wareham Damon Krukowski....
I don't want to go to your party
I don't want to talk to your friends
I don't want to vote for your president
I just want to be your tugboat captain

There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy
There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy
There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy
There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy

I don't want to go to your party
I don't want to talk to your friends
I don't want to vote for your government
I just want to be your tugboat captain

There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy
There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy
There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy
There's a place I'd like to be
There's a place I'd be happy

To me this beautiful song tells of a man yearning for a life stripped of all pretense and social politics. He craves earnest simplicity and wants nothing more than to "captain his tugboat."
