Back in an alley, a shot rings out, the cigarette flares

Impact runs down electric lines, heading north to the city news wire
Across the ocean the sun starts to rise with foreign eyes

It’s a bang blame bang, murder on the midnight wire
The police said this boy is a liar, look the gun’s in his hands

General CommentYou missed entire verses in this song. Anyways, seems like as long as everyone is satisfied, it doesnt matter that some lower class person was convicted of a crime he didn't do.

General CommentHey man you heard there's murder down on the street
Lookout Police men are out on the beat
Back in an alley a shot rings out
    a cigarette flares
maybe it's a bang, blame, bang

    Murder on the Midnight wire
The Police said this boy is a liar
Look, the gun's in his hands

It was a bang, blame, bang
The public wants an answer tonight
And this boy has no alibi
He's a murderer on the midnight wire

Conversations just slip in the dark
One block over the dogs start to bark
Across the ocean the sun starts to rise
With foreign eyes maybe it's a bang, blame, bang
    murder on the midnight wire
the police say this boy is a liar
Look, the guns in his hands
It was a bang, blame, bang
The public wants an answer tonight
    This boy has no alibi
He's a murderer on the midnight wire

    Impact runs down electric lines
Heading north to the city news wire
If it's in ink it's black and it's white
Maybe it's a bang, blame, bang
    murder on the midnight wire
the police say this boy is a liar
Look, the guns in his hands
It is a bang, blame, bang
The public wants an answer tonight
    This boy has no alibi
He's a murderer on the midnight wire
