"The Abandoned Hospital Ship" as written by Ronald Jones, Steven Drozd, Michael Ivins and Wayne Coyne....
Well it took some time
Cause its a lot
God, it's a bunch
It's such a big, old, black golden buzz

And yeah it took some help
With lots of machines, the experts could tell
With their equipment pushed to the max

And sure it seems easy now but I tell you what
We were perplexed finding the needle
In the needle's disguise

And now that it's conceived, the station has all
Settled down, and I'm sort of relieved, and I'm
Getting over it now

General CommentThis song sounds more like it is about advancement. Like getting/discovering a new thing takes lots of work, effort, and really baffles people when they find it, but afterwards you are so used to it's existence, it seems easy, obvious, and everyone has settled down about it.

General CommentI completely agree with Hybrination. Couldn't have possibly put it better. It's just brilliant isn't it? You can really feel it.

Song MeaningI personally see this song being about a breakup/moving on/finding someone else. The first part

    "Well, it took some time
    Because it's a lot
    God, it's a bunch
It's such a big, old, black golden buzz"

Meaning they've been together so long that it took a long time to recover from it. The next part

"And yeah, it took some help
    With lots of machines
    The experts could tell
With their equipment pushed to the max"

He turns to whatever source of help 'machines' are, whether it be drugs or friends or whatever.

"And sure it seems easy now
    But I tell you what
We were perplexed finding the needle
    In the needle's disguise"

Looking back on it he can see how much was wrong with his partner, but at the time it was so hard to find faults in what he saw as the perfect person (needle's disguise).

    "And now that it's conceived
The station has all settled down
    And I'm sort of relieved
And I'm getting over it now "

Now it's officially done, and he is sort of relieved but still recovering.

Beautiful song either way. I just had a semi-breakup and so of course I see every song like this, but it sounds right to me.
